The Church In Stealth

Stealth
As an adjective:  surreptitious; secret; not openly acknowledged: a stealth hiring of the competitor's CEO; the stealth issue of the presidential race.
As a noun:  secret, clandestine, or surreptitious procedure.

Churches all around the world in restricted nations are actively "being the church" and, in many cases, are operating as "STEALTH" churches. Christians meet together when they can and where they can so as not to hinder the work of the ministry of the body of Christ by being shut down or imprisoned.

As we see our nation rapidly becoming one of those "restricted nations" it would behoove us to start thinking along these same lines. Will the "where we meet" soon become more and more difficult to implement? Will the "when we meet" become a targeted time for persecution? That is why I chose the name
THE CHURCH IN STEALTH.

The Church in Stealth's Mission

To be the covering agent for Christian Persecution Preparedness Institute as well as a model of the way the church may have to function in the very near future. We want to be the church that continually asks the question, "what if?" We want to be the church that is continually "on the alert" as described in scripture;

1 Corinthians 16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
Ephesians 6:18 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,
1 Peter 5:8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

And finally, we do not want to be a church that people simply "go to"… but a church where people will actively "be the church" in their personal lives and corporate responsibilities as described in scripture;

Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Acts 1:8 "but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."
